About our 7000 Series Build-Your-Own Doors
The Philips HERITAGE insulated Steel Door System will add beauty and warmth to any home. It features 24 gauge CLAD STEEL that provides the strength and security of steel in a vinyl finish that is virtually maintenance free. The patented metal clad jamb system provides a durable no maintenance frame. Engineered and designed for energy savings, the HERITAGE offers an efficient seal against wind and water, cold and heat. Storm doors may be added as an option, or at any time thereafter.
Best of all, the Heritage is available in a variety of core styles, with designer, frosted or clear glass window choices.
 
Standard Features
Our 7000 Series Build-Your-Own Doors come standard with: 
*4 1/8" LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) Jamb *24-gauge vinyl clad, 1 3/4" white steel 6-panel door core.
*Aluminum mounting flange with snap in vinyl flush brick mold for a traditional look. *Thermally broken threshold that can be adapted for surface mounting (recessed entry).
*Foam filled vinyl compression seal; jambs and head. *Chrome finish lockset .
*Four legged dual door sweep. *Snap in brick mold with lap return leg.
*All doors are Storm Door Ready.   *Lock-side metal blind stop and integral sealing system.
*All 7000 Build-Your-Own Doors are edge-bored and come with a lockset.  Sealant tape and screws are not included.

 Determine the call size for your door. Note: The "call size" is the measurement of the stud-to-stud rough opening in the wall, and not the exact measurement of the door itself! For more help on how to measure for this door, go here.
How to Identify Left or Right Hand: Look at the door from the outside of the home. The side with the hinges determines left or right hand. (Example: hinges on the right, right-hand hinged door)
Shipping Note: *All Build-Your-Own Doors must ship by freight. The national average for shipping and handling is $175.  Please email us for an exact quote.
