About our 5175 Thermal Doors for Homes

An out-swing thermal entrance door that combines beauty, durability and efficiency. This door is an energy-saving option to our exterior out-swing door. Completely pre-hung, ready to install. Includes a tough fiberglass-clad core that is 1 3/8” thick.
*The aluminum frame is fastened to a LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) 4 1/8" jamb system.	*Strong welded aluminum frame with integral weather baffle.
*Thermally broken threshold.	*Effective insulating foam core.
*Three extruded hinges, complete with stainless steel bushing, join the core to the frame.	*Heavy, damage-resistant fiberglass panels are securely bonded to the core.
*High density foam lock block.	*Knob/knob lockset.
*Core is edge bored and capped for easy addition of deadbolt.	*Core is surrounded by extruded aluminum.
*Extruded flap vinyl on all four side of the frame form the secondary seal.	*Welded galvanized steel frame which is pre-cambered on the lock side to promote a tight seal.
*Manufactured to comply with HUD standard 3280-405.	*Bulb vinyl on all four sides forms the primary sealing system.
